Our goal at Kid City is to provide your child with the best foundation in early childhood education that they can have.  That is why we have chosen the Adaycare.com Curriculum for our Infants and Toddlers and the A BEKA Curriculum to use in our Two Year Old Class through our Private Kindergarten Class.  We feel this will give your child everything they need for these very important early years.

The following is a description of how A BEKA Curriculum is taught and what it will teach your child.

A BEKA is a complete academic program for Nursery through grade 12.  Their materials work together to give a thorough, enjoyable and highly teachable phonics approach to reading.  A BEKA is presented in 6 easy steps: short vowels, consanants, blends, one vowel words, long vowels, the two vowel rule and special phonics sounds.

The following is a description of how the Adaycare.com Curriculum is used and how it will teach your child. Each month of Curriculum includes 4 weeks of lesson plans and printouts that your child can view during Language Development.

Infant:

The Curriculum is broken down by their developmental stages; 1-4 mths, 4-6 mths, 6-9 mths, 9-12 mths, 12-18 mths, and 18-24 mths. Currently we are only able to receive curriculum for ages 1-4 mths and 4-6 mths for our infant rooms. Each week the children participate in different activities in the following areas: Songs and Finger Rhymes, Language Development, Exercise and Stimulation, Massage, Play Time, Fun Activities, and Story Time/ Rhyme Time.

Toddler 12-18mths:

Our Toddler Curriculum comes with different monthly themes for the year and weekly themes as well for each month. Each week your child will participate in Group Activities, Art/ Sensory Activities, Play Time Activities, Learning Activities, Language Development, and Words to Rhymes and Songs.

Toddler 18-24mths:

Each week in this class your child will participate in Circle Time activities, Daily art projects, Hands on activities, Fun learning activities, Words to songs and/or finger plays. They also get printable games and activities, craft patterns, coloring pages and work sheets.
